Mike James Lighting Cameraman 

Based in North Wales I work just about anywhere in the World. Extensively traveled from the Amazonian Rainforest to Base camp Everest, I even work in London occasionally. Most of my work is Documentary based and for Television, but have been doing more corporate work of late. Prefer handheld Docs but am just as happy on the legs.

Film trained but mostly HD now. Like to work on whole projects and am in the habit of making myself available to do so, for the right job. For continuity I like to try to work with Sound Recordist Dave Bimson, working cable free, sound transmitted to the camera and recorded separately onto a time coded hard drive. I don't like to do the sound myself but do work with Directors or AP's who do all the fiddling around.
